This Symposium will focus on the mental health crisis in the legal profession and how the legal profession can assist those who are experiencing mental illness while in the criminal justice system. The event aims to offer possible solutions the legal profession can embrace to address mental health concerns and spark positive change in the legal community and culture. The Symposium is intended to bring together law students, law faculty, lawyers, judges, and other interested parties from around the nation to discuss the future of mental health, the practice of law, and the judicial system.
