Each year, the University of Louisville Law Review publishes a Symposium Issue on a timely and important topic. Our upcoming Issue 3 will be aligned with our symposium and preference will be given to articles focused on related topics such as constitutional law, balance of power, electoral process, police and military powers, civil discourse, and freedom of speech.
Symposium programming will begin with a reception on the evening of Thursday, February 26 and presentations will finish the afternoon of Friday, February 27, 2026. Because the symposium is a celebration of publication, a forum for meaningful conversation, and a unique opportunity for authors to present their article, publication in Volume 64, Issue 3 is conditioned on the author's ability to attend the symposium. The University of Louisville Law Review will make travel arrangements for accepted authors, covering costs including mileage or flight expenses, lodging, and other reasonable expenses related to symposium attendance.
