Symposium

Defense of Democratic Institutions

Thank you to everyone who attended our symposium!

On February 27th, Volume 64 of the University of Louisville Law Review hosted our annual symposium, Defense of Democratic Institutions, which examined the legal structures that support and safeguard democratic governance. The symposium brought together scholars, practitioners, and public officials from across the country who explored topics such as civic participation, election integrity, and the separation of powers.

Through panel presentation and discussion, participants engaged with timely questions shaping democracy today and its future. A keynote conversation between Kentucky Secretary of State Michael Adams and Former Kentucky Secretary of State Trey Grayson centered the day's programming.
