Dear Perspective Author,
To strengthen the University of Louisville Law Review's renowned tradition of publishing forward-thinking and relevant scholarship, the Volume 64 Editorial Board is launching a new forum to promote and disseminate the scholarship of academic thought leaders, legal practitioners, judges, and law students. Starting in August 2025, authors may submit a blog discussing novel legal issues, the evolving legal landscape, and the development of legal doctrines to aid academics and practitioners in addressing contemporary legal conundrums.
Authors will explore their chosen topic areas through in-depth research and legal analysis, showcasing their unique writing style and proposing innovative solutions. Blog posts should simulate a law review article or note. However, the University of Louisville Law Review kindly recommends that submissions stay within a maximum limit of 2,000 words. Blogs should contain footnotes citing the author's sources.
Published blogs will be featured on the University of Louisville Law Review website, shared across the Law Review's social media accounts, and celebrated by the legal community. Selected authors will have the chance to receive an award at the annual University of Louisville Law Review Symposium in honor of their contribution to our journal and legal scholarship.
The University of Louisville Law Review invites you to demonstrate your academic analysis and comprehension of complex legal doctrines by authoring a blog post on a topic of your choice.
Thank you for your time and efforts,
University of Louisville Law Review, Volume 64
